Can confirm this is still an issue in the .12 version as Nitroseuk said also to do with visibility.

Use a proxy client to browse with, that should solve the issue of creating accounts on a seperate IP ^_^

Its the open source Look and Feel that was around a couple of years ago causing the issues, the developer stopped development before Java 8 so thats why its causing issues and I don't think the developera are bothered to fix it cos it doesn't affect anyitng :P

it's not being deprecated? The old one was deprecated cos it was outside of the API but now you can jsut use getClient().getUsername()
