I believe it's because when you reset it's still within the same subnetwork, so you get a new IP within the same range.

I have checked the IP with our database and it matches that of @baclawunderu.

This is a scare tactic. If they could really detect it they would just be dishing out 48 hour and permanent bans to everyone who logged into an account while on OSBot client.
