Oh shit, you're right, I haven't BDSPeed all over everybody today.
I'll get brainstorming, it's a tough process.
I setup a selection of 3-5 extremely shit posts and I let my cat decide which is shittest.
On top of being accepted into the London Institute of Contemporary Music Performance to study a bachelors degree in creative music production and marketing this month, I also landed myself a tattooed nerd girlfriend who appreciates my music and who's life revolves around gaming and Lord of the Rings.
Everything's going so unbelievably well right now it's almost worrying.
As a producer and musician I second this fully.
Though I'm positive the OP was regarding sound-systems and not instruments, as clearly specified in the title...
EDIT:
Personally I've gone with a cheap ebay 500W amp and 600W LemonAudio DJ/PA speaker set-up which was dirt cheap for its strength.
I also have a pair of Sony headphones for when I need higher quality audio instead of enough bass to vibrate the whole apartment block.
I almost got emotional for a second there.
I thought she was going to have her cat put down.
It's okay though, she's just sending it to rainbow bridge.
That's a relief.
EDIT: Boy, am I going to look stupid if there's a rainbow bridge after I die.
