  8. Talking on Skype
  9. As stated before, the problem is the Skype support. It is way more lenient than Microsoft's support team (No they are not the same teams). You can also see that the number of Skype hackings with live: is far less than regular ones registered with Skype.
  10. It's a company bought by Microsoft, although Skype still has their own team that handles their accounts. This team is the team that flaws their security system.

I have sent you a request on Skype live:BlueSales
  12. I have added you on Skype live:bluesales
  13. The issue is not a hacker guessing/keylogging a password, the issue lies within the Skype recovery system. If you talk long enough with Skype support, they will give access to any account. Thus this is why Skype's recovery system is extremely flawed and unsafe to use.
  14. Because of one user named The Hero of Time I will have to say no.
  15. Not all staff have public Skypes, but I'm saying if you do advertise a public Skype it should be live:
  16. That makes a great point, although put into the Scenario that you have been hacked. Now the hacker has access to 1.6K contacts of yours which he could potentially scam. With your 974 positive feedback, most users would believe that they should trust you and nothing should happen. I believe that staff should have to make it because users look up to staff, and most of the time follows what a staff has told them to do. If a staff's skype account was hacked, that would do a lot of damage.
  17. I say suggested for regular users without the ranks I listed above, but required for the ones that I have listed above. How many times have we heard a skype being hacked from a person with a rank? Users trade with trusted users to most likely to ensure that they are safe and won't be scammed. They should boost their confidence if they know that they are not talking to a hacker.
  18. The amount of threats that have been given to users to pay hackers a monthly fee (or else they will get hacked) is ridiculous. What's more ridiculous is that some of these threats actually turn into reality as Skype's recovery system is extremely flawed. If a user spends enough time with Skype support they will eventually get their hands on any skype account that is registered with skype. This is why I am proposing that there should be a requirement for all users with the ranks of: to either own a skype account with "live:" (Mircosoft account) or not have a skype at all. What makes the Microsoft accounts more secure than registering with Skype is that you can enable a two-step verification making it nearly impossible to get hacked. Also you are registered with Microsoft rather than Skype, meaning hackers can't go to Skype support with their flawed recovery system to get your password. Let the hate comments begin .
  19. I believe adding this would be a necessary component to keeping everyone on OSBot safe. With the technology that is growing comes technology that falls into the wrong hands. We can use the new technology such as Google Auth to protect ourselves from any hackers. In case you don't know what the Google Auth / Two-Step Verification is, here is a link that will explain everything: http://www.google.com/landing/2step/ As for adding this to the forums, I believe this plugin will install it for OSBot: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/5610-google-2-factor-authentication/ Leave your comments below .
