  1. inb4 someone steals my signature
  2. So you expect the provider of a script to update / rewrite its product into a brand new one and then give it away for free to the people who bought the initial product it was based upon? Who is going to pay for that dev time then? The revenue from new users won't do considering the stream of those is too small.
  3. 21 I feel old now
  4. If its an account you care much about I suggest you stop botting
  5. What's your solution then?
  6. I guess the lifetime (support time) of the script ends in 2 weeks, sorry

  8. It's not weird to feel chill about it (unless they were surrounded by 20 dudes, then you'd be f'ed up)
  9. pleasure doing business with you
  10. Fingers crossed.
  11. I don't see how its more work :p We'll see how monthly fees will affect OSBot, I have my doubts about it, I hope I'm wrong though.
  12. Agreed. I honestly hope he's an exception, we'll see I guess.
  13. I hope the forums are ready to get flooded by posts like these I love the idea of monthly payments as a provider, consumers won't.
  14. Enjoy (Make sure you start the script while online)
  15. The fixed length of simple arrays is the reason why I don't use them much anymore except for constants (my blacklists are usually dynamic, this allows me to have one smart flexible blacklist instead of multiple constant ones). I prefer the collection interface because it offers much more flexibility imo.
  16. Considering most of them will actually become whole new products (new API, new quality standards for the SDN, entire rewrites for some scripts, new features) it seems fair our time invested would be compensated in some way, their current strategy doesn't allow such compensation and I think that's a shame. Message to all script buyers: Dear script buyers, I started a poll on the thread of my premium money making script Shrooms, even if you are not a user of this script I would love to hear your opinion. 17. Bullshit, the amount of new users isn't great enough to maintain a stable number of sales for any script. A market reset would have been beneficial to all of us. Their alternative solution seems to be renewal fees, I'm very skeptical about this solution (even though it could be a better one longterm-wise, we'll just have to see how the consumers will react to it) I have ported 2 out of my 3 scripts that are currently on the store and have 3 originals ready to go. I'm not lazy nor am I crying, please. I have been scripting exclusively for OSBot 2 for like 2 or 3 weeks now. All I'm saying is that they could have used this "Great transition" much more greatly and strategically.
  18. Some scripts have reached 99% of their target market and are getting like one sale per week anymore, there's no financial incentive there. Reputation doesn't matter much unless you are offering a product that's in demand.
  19. You know what generates laziness? Lack of incentive.
  20. Forcing renewal fees without discussing the idea with the consumers first wasn't a smart move either. To a provider monthly fees are an attractive idea, not so attractive from a consumer point of view.
  21. This. Script writers are dissatisfied because of the lack of strong financial incentives (the ability to resell a ported OSB1 script as a new product would have been beneficial to everyone including the customer, if you want me to expand on this I gladly will). On top of the financial dissatisfaction they would get penalized by you because they refuse to upgrade all their products for free. Customers will be dissatisfied because their scripts won't be working anymore even though you promised them they would.(most premium script writers won't update their scripts if there's no financial incentive, you can threaten us with demotions as much as you want, low move by the way) I'm not saying none of the script writers will update their scripts (matter of fact I ported 2 out of my 3 scripts already), but the ones getting one sale per week because they reached 99% of their target market just won't bother. Your strategy is disappointing, I wish you would have discussed this with the community and script writers. There were numerous threads full of suggestions and questions in the script dev forum yet you chose to ignore those, I can't say I'm surprised about that. I'm absolutely grateful and have a lot of respect for your work on the bot but the lack of communication and proper business management is seriously starting to irritate me. 22. I did, but I'm not a huge fan of the android os :| Turns out i'm not a huge fan of any mobile os actually, I'll probably buy one sooner or later anyway considering I'd love to start programming java for phones :p Are you satisfied with it?
