  1. Interesting. So, what should I do on them to make sure they won't be delay banned? Just play on them normally for a few days prior to retiring them?
  2. Woah really? Does anyone know what it is? I raised 40+ legits and never got banned. AFK splashed and manual questing. All survived.
  3. What are some good secluded places upstairs/downstairs in F2P you can attack something like that? Lumbridge is a no-go. Crowded all the time.
  4. Let's say I have a tutorial island bot farm. I make x number of accounts per week, complete tutorial island and a few skill levels, and I log them out. Their details are stored away for MONTHS. Is there any sort of behavior that can get them banned (IP changing, playing on many at once, OS changing, etc) that can trigger a ban? Or are these completely legitimate accounts as far as Jagex is concerned? Further, can botting on a new account on the same IP/machine get these accounts retroactively banned? Also, are these accounts "flagged" in any way so they'll be more likely to be banned once they do begin botting? I ask because I hear stories about bot farmers raising and selling piles of them and they can be banned within hours of even legit play on a new IP. Thanks!
  5. It's my understanding that the anticheat software isn't watching you fully until after a report. If this is true, how long does it take for it to go away? Or is it permanently watching once you get flagged? I ask because I just lost a crappy experimental 80 WC F2P bot that I know got reported about a week ago. Didn't log in until last night, botted again, and boom.
  6. I haven't tried weekend botting, but it does sound that way yes. Humans review it, so naturally you want to bot when there's as few humans as possible. Preferably a few hours before they leave on friday until monday morning. You'll get 3 solid days in at the master farmer before the ban hits. With wine, this could easily be millions.
  7. Can anyone confirm if putting it on a table or on the ground works? Maybe in a house coffer?
  8. What was your play style? How many total hours botted?
  9. Botting platform. You mean OS, or the entire software stack/network stuff you bot using? I'm guessing mass IP bot farms get nuked pretty fast.
  10. What if you bot the entire weekend, but log off before Monday comes along? Or start playing normally? If there's no reports or flags, you'd be fine?
  11. But during a weekday, is it much shorter? We're talking just in a few hours?
  12. I hope that wasn't 24 hours straight edit:nvm
  13. Some say it can get banned within 5 hours. Others say it runs a minimum of 4 days straight (96 hours) before it can get banned. What is the truth?
  14. VPN is easy. Just get something like NordVPN that has its own desktop app that lets you switch IPs on the fly. You'd just hop to another one in the country you're in and create it there. You can even create it on free WiFi nearby or at a public library. Once you do that, you can bot it on your IP or bot it on the VPN. Just don't hop countries too much.
  15. Is it a good idea then to let buyers know what country the accounts were created in (IP wise)? Is it wise to ask the same of a seller?
  16. I think that one did something it wasn't supposed to (got stuck, etc) and they didnt even look at same IP accounts.
  17. I had a hatchetless bot click on oaks for about 9 one time, still play on it to this day. This was circa 2010 LOL.
  18. Can anyone else share their personal experience? Does it only happen on Jagex business days as the sticky says?
  19. I used to bot back in 2006-08 and I remember there was about 3-4 weeks of time you had to wait after botting to know for sure you wouldn't be banned for it. After this amount of time, you could use an account like normal and it would never get banned. What is this amount of time currently? Is it longer or shorter? Does anyone have any experience in this area?
