just left it running while i went to the gym, came back in lumby with it saying pciking up pet??? does this mean i got the pet and died??

Is it possible to see what loot you've gotten so far on high score charts or does it just average it out? I would like to know just in case i get a pet, does it pick up and bank it by chance?
