Organise your code a little bit more.. seems like a mess there. That being said I don't think your onPaint() is causing that but might be due to your getState() in there(Just a guess). The only time this occurred to me was when I tried to render multiple things whilst running but that's understandable.

Happened to me twice. Once I slowly saw the girl from the horror film ring or something like that, clamp her hands at the end of my bed then pops her heads and stares at me for a few seconds. All of a sudden she sprints on top of my body and I force myself to move and shout. Didn't sleep for two nights Next time isn't sleep paralysis but lucid dreaming. Was sleeping and in my dream woke up(Everything exactly like it was in real life) and turn around to see my ex, I try to wake her up and when I turn her face I see a demon with horns. I then wake up and remain still for a solid 2 minutes shivering not knowing what exactly happened..

Software engineering is a WHOOOOOLE new universe. Knowing basic Java isn't going to get you anywhere. I suggest taking professional courses and investing some money in. Also if you wish to develop games check out Unity and some Unity-oriented courses. Alot of great games are created with that engine and it's free.
