I always do that without problem. If you have dynamic IP though it wouldn't hurt to get a new IP if your alt gets banned

Yes but the thing is you shouldn't suicide bot on Sundays because i think they check the Sunday's feed on Monday and ban. So you have a chance of being banned on Monday even if you didn't bot on Monday but on Sunday. I usually suicide bot on Saturdays tho no bans yet :p

Proxies are handy only if you are running multiple bots. If you run 1-2 bots simultanously i suggest you to use VPN instead.
