And who said that it wouldn't be free?

Can somebody just give me two warning points to shut this kid up?

Incendiax's Reaction to Superman Getting Banned

Anybody got a towel? -
Sorry my friend. I recall OSBot being a much happier place when I joined.
-
Let's try an analogy here. OSBot is a high school, and we're both in the same Mathematics class. You're sitting next to me during a test. I spend some time solving a problem and create a solution (SSF). You decided not to spend time yourself and looked at my test to see how I did it, and copied my work (exactly). And then you finished the test and gave it to the teacher (SDN testing). Now I'm realizing that you copied my Math test, and intend on getting a good grade from it (money). While cheating on a school test may not be illegal, it's against the rules in a school as it's academic dishonesty. You never approached me asking if you could use my format, nor had you notified me. I had to find out on my own that you were going to be selling it on the SDN. You're asking me why you shouldn't copy my test as it's "legally right at my [your] fingertips". Now you want to re-do the test as you've been caught. I know where I go to school, the teachers would laugh at such a proposal. I don't recall giving much input on QBot's script rather than mentioning that it was a cheap rip off. I never launched any sort of complaint, or made any comment after that. I'd be happy to compete against QBots. I'm not happy having to compete against myself.

We have a new GUI too. Thank you, somebody using common sense.
-
Ripping and changing a little bit of code then calling it your own is stealing. Also, why wouldn't he be scared of competition, it effects his sales which is his income.. I can tell you have never programmed before. What Dashboard posted was one small portion. He's whining about competition, which is just pathetic. SSF's file format is a HUGE part of the script. It's a script that makes scripts, and this is how it spits it out. How do you think Adobe would react if GIMP started saving PSD files?

It's $14.99 lifetime and comes with a full website and 4 live support workers. It's hard to argue that it's expensive. Last week it was $25. Now that @GoldenGates script is coming out, you lowered it by 10 dollars. This is really saying something. It's a sale that we've been planning since October 11th. 834 people posted on our thread, and there were 105 likes asking for the sale. It had nothing to do with GoldenGates. Hmm... Anyways, stop being so butthurt Well that's an intelligent thing to say. My frustration roots from him copying my work and selling it, I'm sure most would do the same in my shoes.

I've already notified Raflesia, and he's going to look at it when he wakes up. And I've always said that SSF won't be a script made with Java, and that it's useful because it doesn't require an actual script writer to have to write the script for you (among some other related reasons).

He still originally had the same GUI which shows that he's been building it around my program, similar to how one could use an RSPS source (or at least ripping code out of it).

I shouldn't have to fight my own product. And he shouldn't be able to profit off of my work by claiming it as his own.

I'm pissed. Code sample of 'his' file format (available by him from the Script Tester's section): 0#0,0,0,0,0#Dat Flax Picker, null, null, null, null 1#0,0,0,0,0#GoldenGates,null,null,null,null 46#9,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 30#2272,3490,2729,3493,17,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 2#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 38#441,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 28#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 38#444,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 3#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2726,3485,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2729,3472,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 42#30,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2731,3459,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2731,3447,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2743,3445,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 23#16681,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#Pick,null,null,null,null 38#555,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 35#15,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2741,3444,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 35#15,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2733,3454,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2728,3467,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2730,3477,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2727,3485,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null 43#2724,3493,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null Code sample of my file format as of SSF 1.0 (which was released on a jar, the code can be copied from it, which is where I assume he's getting these things from): 1#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 4#1733,1734,1745,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 5#1745,26,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 2#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 15#1733,1745,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 8#104,399,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 10#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 8#100,454,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 9#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null 18#0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0#null,null,null,null,null,null,null,null Explanation - SSF loads files line by line as if they were commands. It follows the format of: ACTION_ID#INT,INT,INT,INT,INT,INT,INT,INT#STRING,STRING,STRING,STRING,STRING,STRING,STRING,STRING What's exceptionally remarkable is that both his and my script have 8 slots each for ints. What is also interesting is that both start with action ids, then go to int data, then go to String data in the same order. Another interesting fact is that both scripts use the "#" character to separate these bunches of data, which has no significance other than it being a personal choice that I made a few months ago out of preference to that character. There is no legit reason for him to use "#" to divide the data other than a VERY coincidental thought that was the same as mine. My file format is just one way of HUNDREDS of possible routes that GoldenGates could have taken for his own script saving/loading, but it seems that his is an EXACT match to mine, which is extremely fishy. Another thing that I must mention (old evidence to add to this) is: His GUI: My GUI: GUI is nearly an EXACT match aside from slight changes to the names of the menus (instead of "new action", he made it "add action"). I'd like something done about this as @GoldenGates is clearly copying my work (not only the idea!) to sell it for profit. This is outrageous and something MUST be done. Thanks, Dashboard

Pay money to do work? LOL

oh please, npcs.get("fishing spot") yeah that would work for a specific fish. There is a need for idsAnd for objects ids are needed because to get the position u would shift the idhash though it's already done in the api so mayb not You could check the actions that the fishing spot has available.. Ex a lobster fishing spot would have the "cage" action. If players don't use ids, why would a bot need to use them?
-
I would dislike the change. No support.
-
You should ditch ids completely (aside from items and interfaces). Find objects based on their position and name, find npcs based on name, there's no need for ids any more.
