I used to come to this site for Runescape botting but now I come for the amazing crypto trading advice everyone seems to have! I sold my house last week and am following all the advice posted on forums.

@The Undefeated @HeyImJamie You both are correct. If you write a script properly, it shouldn't really need much maintenance apart from slight content changes. If you want to expand it - that's a different case. Now it depends greatly if you're developing it as a hobby or as a way to make money. In my opinion, script prices are rather low, so unless you want to make some nice $ probably impossible to do with 1-2 scripts. Probably no one here is trying to make a living from developing scripts (check software developer salaries). It's probably a hobby to some extent. Regarding customers - naturally they have the right to be pissed if the script they paid for for an agreed price doesn't work. Especially due to some minor bugs/changes like one extra option in tutorial island dialogue. Takes a maximum of 30 minutes to check, code, test and push. If you got bored developing a certain script (it's a hobby) and it eventually requires a ton of maintenance (due to content changes and not cause it didn't work to begin with) I do understand the scrripter not giving a f for a few bucks. Pretty hard to balance out being ethical and "being a slave"

Absurd amount of time? If you can script properly, your script shouldn't break every update and small fixes won't take hours to fix.

People are expected to maintain their script for an absurd amount of time for little to nothing is what I'm saying. If you can't understand this, you've not been in the real world yet.

We already have monthly payments. If you only support those, you can't ask $8 a month for a Pest Control script. What happens is the user buys it for 1 month at a price of $2, gets the Void and there goes the money for OSBot and the scripter. If you can't take the responsibility of maintaining a script, you shouldn't release one. Earning less than you expected isn't a valid reason to update/fix your script less frequently.

Now that's smooth.

OSBot really should move to a monthly payment / auth system. 1, it'll bring more money for the company and 2, it might motivate scripters to continue to put in the work. Why you guys expect everything to be 100% perfect all the time when all you've paid is a couple of bucks is beyond me.

Just set a boolean in onMessage() that signals you to drink an overload, if you want to do it that way. Once you've had the overload or can't drink anymore, then just set the boolean to false. Realistically though, you can just check the dynamic levels of your strength/attack/defense, and if they're not significantly higher than your static level, then you drink the overload

Bans been hitting hard

So about a month ago my gmaul prod got permed. Finally starting to get my new one to take off. Just got it 99 cooking yesterday for fashionscape, still needs halo and cw top and to finish mith gloves. I dont think im gonna spend 85m on another 1 prayer firecape incase this gets banned too lmao. I was thinking green halo get 99 wc for cape and range cw top to look like pr0 pker. Every range lvl has been trained with cannon and mage was splashed/alched only got hp through str lvls. I rate it pretty strong for my cb (55 cb) not going to say exact stats or anything yet but its range/str higher then ppl my cb im only a few hp lvls behind tho. I love 1 prayer pking its fun at low levels. If it survives this week without ban i might make a goals thread for it. That or make another road to 85 mining again.

Your class of weapon is in config 843. You can use that for the most part. The ranged classes are: Bow: 3 Crossbow: 5 Chinchompa: 7 Thrown: 19 Tho more could potentially be added in the future; so it's not exactly future-proof

No just the barrows one unless you mule on to your main then u got an insanely low chance of getting banned on main. This bot seems to have a low ban rate atm compared to the zulrah bot though those accounts are getting smashed.

There is a lot of factors to an account getting ban. I assume because you are asking whats the longest run time someone has ran- that you are botting for long sessions and or have unsafe botting habits. I highly recommend reviewing this post on Preventing botting bans.

This script is having trouble dismissing randoms. It would try to dismiss randoms while the target view is still on screen, so it would spam click on randoms and miss the random. I think Target View should be close first then dismiss randoms.
