I've been gold farming for almost 1.5 years now and have made lots of money so I've decided to write my own guide. Tips You will eventually be banned by gold farming. There is no way around it. The key is to profit as much as you can before getting banned. Don't complain when you get banned. Mule the gold every few hours so you do not risk losing out on profits Find a good private script Buy a VPS to increase the size of your farm Do not bot stupid stuff like Blast Furnace or woodcutting and expect to not be banned. No one is going to tell you their gold farm method so do not ask Test things out to see what is profitable. Buy VIP to expand your gold farm(if you plan to run more than 2) Get sponsor if you plan to be a long term gold farmer. Once you have a nice set up, invest in Sponsor. If you do not want to pay for a private script, then learn to code yourself. You can be writing your own simple scripts in a few weeks of practicing it. Learn to use Linux. Dedicated servers are better than VPS's. There are a lot of different types of gold farms. Gold farming zulrah or gold farming f2p clay miners, the end result is to profit. They are the best things invented for botting. Basic FAQ 1) Is OSRS profitable? Yes there is a lot of money to be made in gold farming Runescape. I just read the other day that someone gold farmed enough to get lazer eye surgery to improve their eye sight. Other people have made thousands of dollars from it so it is possible. This does not mean that it is easy though. 2) How do I know what is profitable? My suggestion from personal experience is go to around Runescape and find random things that are profitable. There are a lot of things that are not common and make anywhere from 200-500k/hour. I've found many methods that make good money just from exploring osrs. 3) What is a private script? It is a script bought by only you 4) Should I use a private script or a public script? Private scripts are better because they are unique to only you. If you are wanting to start a gold farm, I strongly suggest buying a private script. 5) Where do I buy a private script? Many scripters sell private scripts. Go to the private script section to search for some. 6) How do I get the private script to show up? Place it in your Users/Osbot/Scripts folder. Refresh your client and it will appear 7) What is a VPS? Basically its something that lets you run more bots. If you have a shitty computer, then get a VPS to run more bots. 7) What is a proxy? A proxy is used to change your ip on the client. It does not lower ban rates but it prevents chain bans. This means that all your accounts are not linked on the same IP. 9) What is a mule? An account that holds your gold and is not botted 10) Will my mule get banned? It is very hard for a mule to get banned( very low chance but still possible) 11) What is automated muling? Some people have it coded into their scripts to automatically transfer gold. This is the ultimate gold farming strategy because it lowers the risk of profit loss and allows the user to have less input 12) Should I bot f2p or p2p? p2p is the way to go. For some reason p2p bots have a lower ban rate and there are a lot better methods. 13) Why should I invest money if I am just going to be banned? If you find a good method and bot smart, you will make profit. 14) How many hours a day should I bot? No one knows the answer to this. There's always a risk in botting. 15) Does the weekend really have a lower ban rate? From what I have seen, yes it does. Jagex is out of the office during these days. This does not mean you cannot be banned, but I know a lot of people who run huge gold farms starting Friday-Monday morning. 16) What are breaks? Breaks are a user selected option that allows you to control how long to bot for and when to not bot. Many people believe that having breaks can reduce the ban rate. 17) What is Mirror Mode? It is a VIP only feature that masks the official runescape client so that Jagex cannot detect that you are using a third party app. -- I have no opinion on this-- 18) What is CLI mode? It is an easier way to gold farm if you are running a lot of bots. I highly suggest using it. The best way to reduce your ban rate is to have a flawless script that does not get stuck or repeat actions. I stop smoking grass when I want to feel motivated. It's pretty simple now actually. I'm an hourly user basically (if that could even be the term lol) so whenever I take a small break of few hrs I'm all pumped up and ready to do shit. But before all that, I'd just watch some motivational videos or any kind of videos about the specific area I am interested in, might sound cheesy but ye, other people's achievements and just daydream about all the nice stuff that could happen if you work towards a certain goal. Look at the endgame, and remember that being un-motivated is only preventing YOU from achieving certain desired goals. Want more money, more stability and overall more knowlege about the coding that you so passionately (used to, atleast) do? Then go for it. Gym? If there's nothing physically stopping you from going there you should be furious about not going. Be mad at yourself, you broke your OWN "rule" of going to gym, and who are you at the end if you can't even abide by your own rules. Your body is a temple, it's basically all you've got - treat it like a fuckin temple. Think about all the babes that will be drooling when they see you on the beach (and some occasional boys). Think about all the babes that WONT be drooling if you stop going to gym, and instead will ride someone elses cock. Showering? Idk, if I don't shower for 24+ hrs I can't function properly so there's not much I can tell you about that. Might just be a phase, but you might be losing interested in the areas of life you're into right now. Try switching something up, trying something new, new investment, new project, new hobby, new activity. Heck, even new people (Not that you should abandon your old friends lol).

Just going to let you know, what you're asking for is absurd. My OSBot account with, with $100's worth of scripts isn't worth risking 5m I understand you want security and this comment isn't to be taken the wrong way but thought i'd share my opinion.

First end to end communication successful Here's what the whole sequence currently looks like: Script tries to establish a connection with my custom server Server accepts request and spawns a new thread to communicate with the script over a socket Script asks for a new account over the socket Custom server communicates with MqSQL Database, gets the next available account, and returns it to the script over the socket I'm not sure what all I'll need/want to call over the socket, so I've built it in a pretty open fashion so adding new functions to the server and calling them from the script shouldn't require any real changes to the socket reader.

Suicide bots usually last throughout the weekend and gets banned on Monday.

Because of the difficulty in removing older feedback's, I am going to leave the feedbacks unless another staff wishes to remove then. You are now aware of the rule so in the future please only feedback for trades of at least $1 in value, as per the market rules.

Doubt Hunter is something that should be suicided, as bans are too often. Do it safe, few hrs a day, with some other legit skills, with breaks every few days etc.

IMO you’re better off taking breaks and trying for longevity in the accounts life. Especially when the skill to farm is hunter. You’ll waste more time making more accounts and getting the hunter level required. Try 2-3 accounts and just do a few hours every other day or so

I've sometimes felt the same way and wound up spending a month or two doing very little and even screwed up some of my schooling. I found that spending more time hanging out with friends and trying to participate in sports got me to change my "bad" habits and routines. Being lazy or unmotivated is a state of mind and the only way to change that is to find enjoyment in those activities you have started to slack in or to move on and find something new that interests you. Just go to the gym, not to make up for the missed day, but because you want to! Go out and meet some new people. Staying inside and keeping to yourself is one of the worst things you can do. It is one of the few things that commonly leads to depression.

I usually play legit on my IP, but then when botting use a proxy. Or play legit on a proxy and bot on another proxy. Then I just say that my account got hacked while I was away at work. Works sometimes.

The best method of getting an account ban squashed is by creating it on a different IP and botting it on another. You then recover it on that different IP and they'll think its a hijacked account. Doesnt work 100% of the time

Also spam clicks the castle door which looks a bit dodgy, not sure if that's something that can be fixed? I figured out banking in the end, would only do it when inv was full and if there was only 1 space it would still do the chest and just leave the leftover stuff on the floor.

well when you go on repair barricade mode, it uses a full inventory of logs all at once. when it can easily repair a few until bar full then go woodcut logs then repair e.g, because on long games i run out of logs and activity bars goes to 0

Hello again, just wanted to let you know that blast furnace has some issues. I dont know why but I run it choose options gold bar + ice gloves + smith gloves click run and then he pays for blast furnace deposit money in coffer and then simply log out. Tried 5 times did the same.

The journey is the best part. I imagine that it's the same for a number of people here, after so many years and so much playtime, you know too much about the game to not make money off it. I just ran into an old post-grad colleague and he asked if I got a job yet. I said I never wanted a job, been botting runescape the last 6-7 years. His reply: "Fuck I've been doing it wrong this whole time, need to re-evaluate my life" I just love spawning magical internet money, turns into a fun hobby that doubles as an income. Keep at it young buck.

There's people making $50k+ a year from botting or just Runescape in general. I've spoke to people with business degrees, CS degrees and even people already being in a high paying job which made Runescape their job. If you know how the market works and you have particular skills or just a good deal of motivation, you'll easily be able to make a more than livable wage. It's a highly competitive market and anyone who's giving out information for cheap or even for free is most likely not knowledgeable/isn't making remotely close to what they claim, anyone with information on the magic sauce would know how much it actually is.

zulrah is the one for me, up 800m in loot in a few months, using only one account at a time. (one got banned, one is running strong). if you're only wanting a side income, $800 in 3 months is enough to cover expenses such as petrol+food for me.
