Project Q' Progress Thread Hello there, and welcome to the progress thread of Project Q'. Project Q' is an expansion of a private questing bot I made in my spare time for fun. The goal of this project is to be able to automate as many quests in Old School Runescape as possible over the course of 2016 (Clearly Some Things Would Be Impossible), as well as keeping me motivated to script actively. just because a lot of people have it doesnt mean it is the best working one. users should be looking at reviews to buy scripts, not how many users have it.

I plan to re-write all of my past scripts starting with my Motherlode Miner. After I get everything back in tip top shape ill slowly release them back into the market to make sure that each release runs smoothly. I'm really excited to be back! I hope I wasnt forgotten!

It's very easy to assume there are a bunch of easy fixes to make the OSBot script buying experience better from the outside. When you've been involved with the process as long as Maldesto/I have (especially as a scripter) you'd know we've tried all sorts of things. Most changes are reversed because they sound much better on paper than in practice. There are a lot of issues with your suggestions, Maldesto addressed them well. There are definitely some improvements to be had, but they are not so obvious.

Why on the SDN do the free scripts display users but the priced ones do not? I feel adding it too display for paid scripts would help users find the more popular ones more easily.

Hey guys, with the release of my modern goldfarming guide, I'm looking for some people to give FREE COPIES to. There will be no advertising or anything, just honest copies to be given out to those who I think will be able to help me improve the guide. These people would be able to review it and give me advice, criticism and feedback etc. regarding the content of the guide so I can improve it. If you want a bit more context about my guide, I will enclose an image link to my guide thread in a spoiler (NOTE: this is only to give context to the readers if they wish, you don't have to look at it if you don't want to). The guide is free? If you fill the criteria and I deem you worthy, you can take a free copy, yes Why are you posting this here? I'm looking for people with some sort of experience in botting, not just trusted people, hence why I am posting this here in the OSBot botting forum. I'd like to post it here because I know there are people in this forum that have the knowledge in farming that I need in somebody reviewing the guide. What do you want them to do? I want them to review it from a goldfarmers point of view, and tell me where and how I can improve. Every suggestion you give is taken on board and hopefully I will be able to implement. The guide is currently 14,000 words long, and I am always looking to make it larger and give it more information. How can I get a free copy of the guide? Basically, show me that you have some experience and knowledge in goldfarming, and you know how to run one yourself, and practises you've taken. Keep in mind, I won't be giving out a hundred free copies; I am looking for people with a lot of experience, not amateurs. I don't mind change, it just has to be better than the system in place, or satisfy the customers and not just a few, the majority. When we have people that don't get involved with the community, its hard to please them. We've used this system for years, all our customers aren't going to like it if we change it up to satisfy a few people.

1. Multiple accounts, without them personally asking, we can't monitor multiple accounts. 2. Some scripters don't want to give out trials. You know there is an info button that takes you right to the script thread. We can't possibly monitor all the broken scripts, all we can do is take reports as they come and then remove if they are broken for a substantial amount of time. We tried monthly cost, and it didn't work. We have a system in place which makes us the best for new scripters to make money. This will definitely not change, the scripters have to maintain their scripts or they get removed from the sdn. If I get to many complaints/refund requests, I post in the thread or pm the user on skype and let them know about the complaints and that they have 24-48 hours to fix or it will be removed. This works in theory, except when the script is broken for 1 day because of an update, and I get 50+ threads for one script due to it being broken. Not going to happen, they can post in the thread saying it doesn't work or report the original thread letting us know it is broken. It isn't as easy as someone reporting it broken and removing the script or even doing research. You know how many times I get complained to that a script is broken and its literally as easy as starting in the bank instead of outside, as it CLEARLY says in the original post. Your suggestion is exactly why the scripters are forced to make a public thread of their script with information and open to the public to post on + reviews. Letting people know if they are broken and if it has been fixed. I agree on this, I've talked to eric and I'm not sure about this, I'll leave it for Alek to decide. I do think buying/staking scripts would be beneficial. I also think looting scripts should be released as FREE on the sdn, of course and a max of 1 per "loot" or an AIO looter. This doesn't matter at all, we've had that, I've even erased the chat box rules and said "the bot is offline do not ask about it" in 48 font and red, and people still joined. Simply people will not read until they are told 50x in the chat box. This is good enough, people will learn or keep asking, either way we are here to address that and be as polite as we can when people are spamming.

Yup, the event system is inspired by the Bukkit event system (however, I feel that my implementation is a bit better than theirs, as there's no need for strange static methods and "handlerLists")

It just seems a little silly that something that is suppose to be better doesn't even have the support it's inferior counterpart does. :P Plus the whole 'VIP for unlimited tabs' seems redundant when you'll be running all 3+ on the same IP to get chainbanned.

Account creators are hard to make, mostly because jagex blocks your account after you make more than (12?) accounts on 1 ip. Also, after x amount of attempts, a captcha is introduced into the creation process. Captchas are very hard to get round without very advanced ocr. It is possible to get around them but it is much more efficient for a human to register. Apa
