Tried eclipse but wondering if anyone that makes scripts uses a different software. Interested to have a look and try different ones to see which I prefer :)

Eclipse is the standard for Java Development but I'm pretty sure NetBeans is also very popular (and offered by Oracle).

    Downloaded IntelliJ and got my script to show up locally :D 

     

    Will be testing soon once I put membership on an account.
