Which is the best software for creating scripts?

Tried eclipse but wondering if anyone that makes scripts uses a different software. Interested to have a look and try different ones to see which I prefer

Eclipse is the standard for Java Development but I'm pretty sure NetBeans is also very popular (and offered by Oracle).

Visual Studio is the absolute best but it's not for java/scripting :tears:

Downloaded IntelliJ and got my script to show up locally
