Anyone here do Boxing?

Featured Replies

Since Boxing has taken up most of my time, I'm wondering if anyone here does boxing or any other similar sport so I could get tips or support you guys, because this August I'm going to be going into champions (Tournament) vsing other boxers and I've been training real hard, I'm also wondering your normal workout to keep yourself fit, I also know this is pre-season but I never get a break unfortunately.

actually ive always pictured you as a small block headed Asian, tiny but buff, with that weird Asian haircut

you know the one that has an aqk part.. kinda like Jackie chan =D

rofl i thought u were talking about boxing as in staking sad.png

same lol :C

Nice man boxing is an awesome sport, I used to do Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling when I was younger, I love all martial arts to be honest, Bruce lee, Muhammed Ali, Chuck Norris all big motivations for me, I really want to get back into it in the future, I gotta snap out of my lazyness! Goodluck with all your matches man !

i use to do kickboxing for 8 years, in this case i think i could give u some tips ^^

I use to do Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) I did it for around 6-7 years, my workout was a lot of leg work and shadow boxing/sparring with my tutor, simply because the matches were often determined by who had the strongest kick and who could deliver it the fastest. It was a great sport but I ultimately left due to feeling embarrassed about losing to a guy younger than me, also because I started to develop not so good habits, such as drinking too much at weekends and becoming too engrossed in mmos etc... Haha

Everyone is shit at first, even Muhammed Ali sucked at the start.

always wanted to learn, both boxing irl and ingame lol

I've done MMA for 7 years and I'm still going. mostly what i do is resistance training, aerobic training, and once a week heavy weight. you cant also find different vartiations of trainings that teach you how to flex while punching which is very useful in a fight because the punches wont hurt nearly as bad. such things like doing decline sit ups with curl weights in your hands and on the way up throw two punches, then at the top throw two more, etc.
