I don't get the appeal.

It's a full-fledged remake of Final Fantasy 7 one of the most legendary games/stories of all time. It got a very bad treatment in terms of early ps1 graphics because it was originally meant to be a N64 game but now almost 20 years late it's getting the treatment it deserves.

Not sure if you're a fan, but I suppose you'd have to be to fully understand the magnitude of this.

hype

I've waited so long for this, but Square Enix have said it's going to be Episodic. Meaning they're going to charge for each installment. I still have a ps1 just for this game and a select few others like the early Turok games, and Tomb Raider.
