After update i just went to do some prayer when i turned on my bot for 1 second then turned off because i didn't know the host name i got banned?

Pretty weird, ima play it safe and not bot for a few days.

Never a good idea to bot Wednesday nights, because RS updates every Thursday.

that's never fun, i feel your pain.

Same thing happened to me. Updated today, ran script for 1 second and then disconnected and banned :V

 

New to botting, was this a delay ban like someone said? Or client update detected 3rd party program?

 

Should you not bot on Wednesdays? This information is new to me

Supposedly Jagex is able to detect 3rd party clients such as osbot now. That's the rumor going around. I got banned as well and didn't bot that much.
