Nitrousek Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 You are not specific enough, these programs won't make your PC run any faster, unless you have viruses or bitcoin miners installed. If you actually want your PC to run faster, use CCCleaner, defrag your drive, and possibly overclock your CPU. Reinstalling your whole OS is also a known and recommended way for older PCs that have not been cleaned for a while. 2
Jesus1 Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Yeah if you can, I would reinstall your operating system as Nitrousek said! I do it about once a year and it really really does make a difference. (CCleaner is a great program too to get rid of all those temporary files / junk files)

Nitrousek Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I lose everything? Yeah that's the idea of formating. You can always save crucial data/info on other disc or pendrive There's also idea of "quick-formatting" but it is not advised in your case.
Eagle Scripts Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I lose everything? Yes, you'll lose everything. Get yourself a harddrive, save all the date you really can't afford to lose and reformat if you want it to be smooth again. If you really don't like the feeling of formatting, you can also use glary utilities which will help you a little, but reformating makes a biiiiig change. I'd advise reformating.
FrostBug Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 I lose everything? You lose everything you don't store externally or in the clouds. But you get a smoooooth as-new PC c:
