Changing IP

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to change/reset your ip?

A friend of mine has been banned on 2 very good accounts within 3-4 days so maybe this solves it

Most likely will have to contact your provider... Or go a simple route and just mask your ip with a proxy or VPN.

Turn the router off, wait for 5 minutes, turn it back on and it should change.

Only if it's a dynamic IP.

I believe you can ask your provider to give you a dynamic IP

What is a dynamic IP?

If you have a dynamic one reset your router, if you have a static one look for a vpn or contact your ISP.

I have a dynamic IP but restarting my router does nothing, so I'm a bit confused.

Try this:

Go to cmd

Type:  ipconfig   (check your ip address)

then:  ipconfig /release

then:   ipconfig /renew

you should have a new ip address
