Developer is not on the table as a special duty. SDN Manager is considered a special duty; at one point in time API Developer and Random Event Scripter was too. There may be a few new special duties in the future. And would these special duties only be carried out by Scripter 3s?I recall there being an API dev position. I actually took a shot in the dark and applied for it. If it were to ever show up again, would other ranks (non-scripter 3) be able to apply? Keep in mind that maintaining an API and maintaining/marketting a script are two different skills. A Scripter 1/2 could be more experienced in API design, but fail to market their scripts properly, and a Scripter 3 may be able to get around API flaws (trial/error) to produce better scripts, but lack a real understanding of the actual issue. These are just hypothetical cases, but they're not unfounded.

Czar Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 tysm for kind words im scripter 3 (max) in the new system @alek - as for the changes, i'm happy to see osbot is moving forward again, - heavier focus on scripters - more bug fixes (especially the mouse zoom one) - overall less bug reports 1
