A few client suggestions (mainly checks)

Featured Replies

Some of these might already have been implemented and others might not be easily implementable, these are mainly to make the scripters's lives a bit less tedious and to stop users from panicking unnecessarily.

- If not using the latest version of Java, make the user aware of this.

- (Mirror) If not using the latest version of the mirror client, make the user aware of this (similar to the regular client popup).

- If using an incompatible graphics mode (such as resizable), make the user aware of this.

- (Mirror) If the client wasn't hooked properly or at a wrong moment, make the user aware of this (this one seems to happen quite often and isn't an easy one to explain).

- Make the client automatically open the console log when it throws a critical error, make this an opt-out feature. This would make the communication of said errors to the scripter more fluent. This might also be useful for situations when the client freezes and the console log isn't openable anymore.

- Add a clipboard icon and or right-click copy feature to the console log for the same reason as the previous suggestion, consider adding important info such as OS, JVM memory, client version, etc... to any content copied with this function for even more clear debug info and less hassle from the consumer's POV. You could even add a method overridable by scripters so they can add additional script-specific info.

Thank you for your time.

1. Not really required

2. Mirror is not tracked, it will be once it's out of beta

3. Plan on making it a random event

4. MGI issue, I'll have him look at this suggestion

5. This is really circumstantial, I'm not too interested in this currently

6. Definitely interested in something like this

5) I say we should just have the console left open as default and let the costumers close it if they don't like it.

This will most likely confuse them with a large surge in error reports; I'm trying to make the client a little more user friendly.

I'm just say because jn my script I like to add a decent amount of logs in the script. When those come and complain to me about my script breaking. They never leave the console report. Which frankly gets me annoyyed.

I appreciate the work you do here.

i have an idea for #5

if you are going to add a button, that add a parse string to our clipboard. Seeing as i dont want the full console log unless its necessary. Add in a check to see if there text selected. if it does then thats the data we want.
