I spoke with paypal on the phone and explained what he is trying to do and they said they will look into it and we should all get our money back

Explained to them that a lot of business people use a certain forums to exchange "items" and money And that he has scammed a lot of people and has been banned from the forums and is trying to charge back all his transactions.

Why would it affect your family? Your realize what he has done counts as theft? You should report him to the authority.
