Hello :)

 

My internet download speed is usualy somewhere around 4mb/s.

If I download a big program ( LoL, Tera e.g) it slows down to !! 24kb/s !! 

 

Does this have anything to do with my settings?

My internet contract is unlimited with up to 20mb/s - average for me is 4-6 mb/s

Sometimes for larger downloads they make it so that it uses much less of your bandwidth so that you can still easily use the internet while the download is going. For these larger downloads, go into the settings of the downloader and you should find options to change the upper limit of the download rate.

    This could be an issue at the sever you are downloading from...

    Does your contract say bits or bytes? Most providers are using bits instead of bytes to misslead consumers. Well that's what's happening in The Netherlands.

    Bits are smaller than bytes.

    Try VPN!

    My download on torrents is usually slow, but then I connect to a VPN, so it usually speeds up.

    This happens a lot when people are downloading LoL.

    Just let it do it's thing and it will finish.

    When I downloaded it, I got to around 80% and it said 0KBps but it was still downloading because the percent kept going up.

    I don't really know what's wrong with it. A lot of people get this issue.
