Bot auto logout [If not gained exp in X ammount of time][or stuck in random]

Featured Replies

Good Anti-Ban feature (Worth the read)

I was a member of some other botting communities, and I remember A feature on some very old school bots To enable Auto-Logout if your player hasn't received experience in any stat for over 15 minutes it would log out. Or if it got stuck in a random it would logout. It's not the best thing to come back to your player stuck in a random for 3 hours, that raises jagex's suspicious easily and thats one of the MAIN reasons why people get banned, because the random event did there job.

And with all these id changes for randoms, npcs, items It'd be really great to have an Auto Logout if no experience in X ammount of time.

It would greatly benefit the bot. Aswell to ensure that if our charecters get stuck that they'll be safely logged out if the bot can't do it's job. It's only as good as we script it, so lets make it goood!

An AI is only as smart as it's programmer, it works within its boundaries. So hopefully this would be implemented biggrin.png

Edit: Guy said its flawed because what about scrpts that don't use exp (merchers, buyers, talkers, etc)

Well thats why you have it as an OPTION to de-select and select

Thanks for your time for reading this. Have a good day!

Wow , while botting overnight , I got stuck at the frog princess lair, for 45 minutes I was there, logged in and mouse was moving around the screen. Great.......... PLEASE implement this feature! IT will save our accounts! & No I'm not talking about breaks.... I'm talking about full logout

totally, support. I fucking hate seeing my bot stuck in frog random.

I agree and support this, should be on every bot.

Agreed!

I support this! To be honest, I never thought of it biggrin.png

I think this would be a good addition. they dont get stuck very often but when they do that's what hurts your char the most.

Support!!

Totally support this feature, it wouldn't even be much of a problem to implement. We need to keep evolving or else jagex really will catch up with us all in the end. 100% support!

Like the idea

also do you mean it logsout when stuck in a random?

Yes, I do. Or when the bot doesn't gain experience for X amount of time.

Add my support to the list.

Eh i could sort of support this ig but it already logs out when it cant do a random.

and logging out after not enough XP would be a script thing not a client thing.

From what I've heard from members, that the bot can get stuck in randoms for hours and they return to it and it's just still in the random.

Jagex can see the ammount of time you were sitting in a random, Think a Human would be sitting in scaperune/balloon or abyss teleport, or drill sargent for 3 hours. thats why most people get banned, a RANDOM does it's job and gets the bot stuck.

I'd suggest supporting it, if you want your chareceters to remained unbanned, It was added in to a couple bots & worked like a charm! Slept in peace knowing if random script failed, the bot itself would do it.

I agree and support this, should be on every bot.

If you are a script-developer, you can add this to your scripts very easily. But like Led said, it should only be applied to scripts themselves as it would add a lot of restrictions (you were talking about log when 0 xp is gained within X minutes, but what about money-makers, or auto-talkers?)

You guys really do not understand my concept at all.........

You guys really do not understand my concept at all.........

Sorry, I am probably missing your point, but I still believe that it should be the scriptwriter's job to implement this in his scripts if necessary

It could be an option. And this idea I'm proposing was so good, almost all the bots back in 2010-2012 had this implemented.

And if you read the top post , you would see that its an option so if you have a merch bot or autobuying bot it wouldn't interfere.

I think this would be a good addition. they dont get stuck very often but when they do that's what hurts your char the most.

Just woke up botting overnight, Bot was stuck in frogs for over an hour! Please implement this auto logout after 15mins of no experience gained!!!

Agreed. Especially now that we get stuck on some teleport-away randoms. I saw about 6 people stuck in freaky forester when I came back from my shower, and I too was stuck there not moving.

It's kind of annoying how much babysitting the game requires now, but it's getting fixed soon I'm sure :)
