Screenshot button

Don't see any downside to suggesting this, very useful sometimes screen captures the game screen (preferably doesn't include FPS/Location/etc if that's possible, but whatever). Maybe a tab in the settings menu to blank out the players name and more options people can suggest in posts below.

Just a simple button between here:

Saves screenshots to c:\users\youruser\OSBot\screenshots

or a user-defined path that could be changed in the settings tab mentioned earlier.

Only downside would be the devs taking time out of their schedule to do it tongue.png With that said, good idea, I support.

This idea has been posted many many times and never approved by Admins, only a button to take screenshots is not the best use btw.. I mean you can just use the print screen options or any other tool like screensnapr, puush etc... Because this way you still have to upload it.

What we need is a method for scripters to call, in which they can make a screenshot. So when the script ends, or after a few hours, it will take a screenshot automatically

Could try Mithrandir's suggestion.

http://osbot.org/forum/topic/3831-take-screenshot-when-leveling/#entry46183

For script writers, just add this code whenever the player level up

ImageIO.write(bot.b().g() /*bufferedImage*/, "png", new File("Where ever you want to save it"));

So it could be something like this

ImageIO.write(bot.b().g() /*bufferedImage*/, "png", new File("ScriptName" + currentLevel+".png"));

that would save it as "ScriptName36.png" if the current level is 36

I too use gyazo and the occasional lightshot but it would be handy to have an on-client button, especially if something happens really quickly and you need to take a quick screenie. I know theres the print screen button and I'm well aware of that, but if you need to screenshot multiple things ingame quickly, it's not ideal to go out of screen, paste it into paint, then come back.

Your idea also is good, but let me just clarify it for my own sake: Have it take a screenshot of the proggy or gui area (depending on the script) after every hour or so, and have a setting before the script starts to take any screenshots at all and if yes the user selects how often

and again, screenshots will be by default saved in c:\users\usersuser\OSBot\screenshots\ (then possibly scriptname) or the file could be called scriptname_timestamp.png/jpg/whatever

Nice :)
