Ok so since iron men cant use the G.E, how do you make money? and get good gear etc?

Stronghold of security (10k) or steel platebodies in lava maze (sell to store for 1,2k ea) to get you started off. After that you can WC, fletch and alch your bows or sell them to shops as (u). 

Money isn't very important for ironmen. But getting to your second question; some shops sell armor. For F2P, the champion's guild is a great shop. They sell several rune and green d'hide items. In order to get a rune scimitar in F2P, for example, you'll need to get 85 mining and 90 smithing, because no shop or F2P monster sells or drops it. You can look up what which monsters drop on the 2007 wikia page.

 

If you want cash, to buy arrows or such, the main way to get it is high alching. You could kill some monsters and alch their drops.

get 40 thieving and bot at guards you get about 25k gp from 40 - 65 then 65+ its like 35k gp a hour i got 99 on my ironman there
