The cannon has a max hit of 30, regardless of the player's Ranged level.

The accuracy however, is affected by your attack bonus.

That would you be your RANGED BONUS.  clearly says ATTACK BONUS.

 

You're thinking it means range attack bonus? because i don't see that bonus in the bonus area of my account.

Have a look see on the equipment stats on the character page. What you're trying to say that a melee weapon(stab, slash and crush) calculates into ranged. The wiki meant range value within the attack bonus, not all of the values for the styles.

It SEEMS to be the case ... So maybe it is, maybe it isn't

 

Only thing I know for sure is that the cannon is affected by range bonus, if you got +0 range the cannon barely hit. No matter your range level xD

Quest it instead why use a bot for 1-40 range its not worth the risk

40 range for the range guild? You can go in at 33 with a ranging pot.

For those levels I'd use the Cow Killer script. Easy stuff.
