Zikama Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Wouldn't it be smart to make it so that once a user is banned, all of their secondary ranks/pips gets removed as well.
Mustikurupt Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I don't see a reason why, as they won't be coming back anyway 1
Zikama Posted October 4, 2014 Author Posted October 4, 2014 When searching for people with for example the verified ranks, it yield all those banned members as well.
roomscape jr Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 won't really matter there banned so their rank won't do anything
RoomScape Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 Not a big deal... Apparently. Is it ultimately important? Maybe. Does it effect the banned user? No. Is it good for the staff team? No.

Administrator Maldesto Posted October 13, 2014 Administrator Posted October 13, 2014 When we ban someone do we go check for their secondary pips? No When we ban someone do I go to their posts to check what pips they had? No I'm not going to give a scammer or a ban evader any more of my time than it takes to ban them, I think the line through their name is pretty self explanatory. 1
PhilipJFry Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Well, the point, I think, was to automate this. I am pretty sure there is setting in IPB or some way atleast to make it all automatic. No need to waste time on them. You ban them and it removes their pips.

Find out how to do it and I will for sure do it, but I haven't found a way. Especially for the mods who ban through the forums, they would have to use acp to remove the secondary pips.
Eliot Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Also if the ban is later removed we know what ranks they had (vip, sponsor, etc).
