Increase the font size of periods in your essays by two. The size difference is barely noticeable, however it spaces out the lines in the document as if you were using a font two sizes above the required (due to the periods). On average it adds about three to five extra lines per page.

teachers can usually notice when the font size is increased, but if increase punctuation by .5 or 1 they wont be able to tell a difference at all and it adds like an extra half page

yeah everywhere has word limits, special schools do line limits i think

Most teachers at my school impose word count instead of page count requirements, but will keep this in mind for the exceptions

well thats why i have to turn it in electronicly....

Tip #2, after changing the space between the lines, save your document as .pdf and send it so they can't change it

Doesn't work, teachers can tell difference and also sometimes they hold it in front of a paper of the actual size font they want and look at them through the light
