Honestly, no. I train lower body strength for the most part.

 

For cross country I'm logging 9 miles each day

Yeah but all we train in cross country is our cardio systems really.  We do lower body and abs occasionally, but mostly its cardio work that we're doing

Running 3 miles? sounds like fun...

3miles in roughly 20mins is damn good... most professionals only do about 8-9miles during a game
