I have never attempted jad before and I really want to try on my own without buying the service from someone else.

 

My relevant stats are

 

70 defense

70 range

53 prayer

70 hit points

 

I am unfortunately broke though so my armor isn't the best but it consist of

 

600 diamond E bolts

obsidian shield/guthix/saradomin book

rune crossbow

ava's accumulator

barrows gloves

snake skin boots

ring of recoil

amulet of glory

black d hide body/legs

 

I also have a darkbow and proselyte stuff as well as archer helm if any of those might be more suitable.

 

But yes none of the fancy barrows armor/weapons.

 

Given my stats/equipment what is my likelihood of success/ability to learn how to beat jad?

 

I would also like to know what pots/other things to bring and how much of each.

It's easy, you just safespot everything behind a rock that looks like italy and pot when required

 

Take like 1 rng pot, 6-8 brews as ur first time, rest are restores

 

Just enter the dungeon and u'll get the hang of it. Watch some guides on youtube about jad, that's your best bet

The best advice that i can give you is to stay calm as possible, if you can manage that you will be good. A lot of people die because they start to panic. But other then that your stats are good for it!

my tip, u got 70 defence... so use it.

 

Get your ass to barrows, or something else for money, and buy urself some decent defence armour  (karil body/verac helm/verac skirt/ karil crossbow, 3k bolt racks).

 

cuz its ur first time u will make some mistakes, and then ur happy that u got some good defence to t0nk it.
