People do this a lot (I know that I post a lot, but I try to make my posts meaningful, not just garbage 1 word spam posts). I think that 100 pc that is required seems like a useless rule. It is very easy to spam 100 posts in 1-2 days. I think that there should be a requirement of like 100-150 posts, 1day + online time, and at least 1-2 weeks of being a member of the community. This way it would discourage people from spamming 100 posts in a day. It could also make the market seem more reputable if everyone met these requirements when trying to perform a transaction or sale

This is also why setting a post count requirement isn't effective.

We have the Trade With Caution rank for people like this if I recall it correctly. I'm not 100% sure but I know I once asked the staff members if I was allowed to put a suspicious user (spammers, etc.) into the Trade With Caution group and they said it was. I will ask them another time just to be sure because in all honesty, I've seen some users like the one you've mentioned in your first post, but I wasn't entirely sure what to do about it so let's hope this gets cleared up once and for all :)

I've noticed people late at night seem to think that nobody's on and comment on multiple topics trolling just to boost their post count. I haven't got the required post count to sell an account but I am in total agreement that the post count to sell an account needs to be raised. I think if someone goes from 30-100 posts in one day that is ridiculous, maybe set a daily post limit depending on your online time or something? Something needs to be done anyway or more and more people are going to get scammed and go to other sites.

seems a lil fishy this, lol.

We throw this on spammers a lot, I seen his account shop and I was the one that approved it. I knew he was from another forum, so before I approved it, I went to that forum and searched his name and seen he had 15k+ posts and like 15+ vouches. I went ahead and approved it. Usually we throw TWC or reset their post count if they are found spamming 100 posts in one day or a few days.

did you consider the possibility that he could be impersonating the guy on another forum?

He isn't, that is what my research showed. Why would an impostor post the same skype as the one on the other site? How would he scam like that? My research wasn't done with 1 search, I was just using that as an example.

Darn Maldesto, clearly, making these typical mistakes, since he became admin. tut tut tut. lol.

It's the same guy, lol.

what was funny may i ask?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing.

Have 5 days online plus 100 posts before they can sell accounts or 30 days registered and 100 posts. Just doing something like posts or ranks are meaningless.

At least with time online it gives staff time to catch them if they're ban evaders.

You take things too literally.

aaaaand he is banned on the other forum now.

Not sure why though
