Fringie Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 (edited) People don't mind if people use the link so I retract my suggestion. Edited June 29, 2013 by Fringie
DemCamels Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I think you are taking this topic too far, as what I can tell you do not like the user posting this.
Guest Falixus Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 It is annoying, yes. However, I don't think there's a way to ban it. It can be under many links.
Jordan Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 lol. You can't really ban an image, there's 1,000 of these out there.
Occazn Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 If you were to ban that link, there'd be another of them somewhere and that link would get passed the filter. There would be no way you could ban that image.
Jordan Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Anyway, banning something like this would just escalate into aboose.
Ambassador Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 You can't really ban an image per say but banning the URL is doing able. That being said, the people could just upload that image. In this case that's not even an image :P It's a flash file playing on the web page so if admin bans that url then it would remove it unless the user gets that flash file which is unlikely because you can't right click download a .swf lol
Fringie Posted June 29, 2013 Author Posted June 29, 2013 I think you are taking this topic too far, as what I can tell you do not like the user posting this. That analysis is incorrect. It is annoying, yes. However, I don't think there's a way to ban it. It can be under many links. Well, I said ban it because it quite honestly annoys me a lot; I just think it shouldn't be allowed and hopefully that would be enough to deter most of the people with a worse sense of humor than myself. lol. You can't really ban an image, there's 1,000 of these out there. My previous comment above this quote replies to your comment.
Administrator Maldesto Posted June 29, 2013 Administrator Posted June 29, 2013 You can't ban images, but if they are offensive or breaking the rules they can get warned, temp banned.
Link Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 (edited) It can't be done and it's not against the rules. Let people have their fun. Plus, there's already another topic that discusses this. http://osbot.org/forum/topic/5466-pls-stop-posting-this/ Edited June 29, 2013 by Link
Jordan Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 You can't ban images, but if they are offensive or breaking the rules they can get warned, temp banned. I agree. If it's against the rules, then it's a problem. If not, just hover before you click.
Guest Falixus Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 Don't click links you don't trust, and this won't occur. It's as simple as that.
Occazn Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 I think that this topic should be place here anyway. http://osbot.org/forum/forum/103-spam/
