Most likely not DDos?

not an executed ddos, just an unwanted one from too much traffic on a small server

DDoS'd by all the new forum traffic

The alleged cause of this temporary diservice directly contradicts what defines a "Distrubited Denial of Service attack"... A DDoS is an intentional attack, a lot of people overcrowding a website purposefully.

If there's too much site traffic and the server can't handle it, then I'd imagine there would be some maintenance. No big deal.

Let's not alarm anyone with crying DDoS please..

i know what ddos is...

They should upgrade their servers maybe run on a gigabit line.

Hasn't happened to me once, this isn't being DDoSed because we are on a dedicated server with ddos protection and most likely can handle 5gb/per second, It looks like we got to upgrade our bandwidth.

I haven't had this issue. For now, I've simply restarted the webserver.

I don't believe we are fully capping our bandwidth as of now.

i think you have cause now almost everytime i try to load a page it does that, i cant even edit my signature now because everyone keeps getting knocked off.
