The areas that Jagex monitors

Featured Replies

Read the RS Dev blog @ Above posters - as for this information it was given to us freely so I doubt it's all the areas they monitor/if they do just monitor areas - I imagine they create user profiles and analyse these profiles against confirmed bot profiles to determine a match - therefore area/loc wouldn't affect the bans

they prob monitor all but these are the populated areas..

Actually they don't, they have always monitored some areas more heavily than in others, based upon bans in that area, and that way they are able to focus on particular areas, rather than wasting a bunch of resource scanning the entire game world in hopes of finding a bot.

Also this doesn't mean those spots are off-limits in anyway, it just means if you choose to bot in those areas, use a script that in your mind best replicates your playing style, have it try to match your playing profile in hopes of getting past the chance of them profiling you and seeing the difference of when you were playing legit, to when you botted.

I doesn't mean they don't monitor other ares, but if you bot a spot that is not on this map you'll be less likely to get banned (less != not)

Yeah this is prob where the physical banned occurred but that is still a good method for identifying the heavily populated areas that they will send their bot busting nerd squads to.

also, lold at the tut island bans.
