Disallow multiple threads in the same section.

Example: If you have a thread in verified, you shouldn't be allowed to have one in the regular section.

I suggest we either make a verified tag (so that there won't be a separate section and it'll be easier for consumers to notice all the threads - they tend to ignore verified or just miss it completely sometimes). But regardless, this shouldn't be allowed. This is essentially the same thing as me having a buying/selling (two separate threads) in the same section and my reasoning stating that they have different purposes. This is just going to clutter up the forums.

Mmm, I used to avoid the verified sections for this reason when I worked on other sites.

If they have a regular thread and a verified thread, one thread would be completely pointless to have - in this case, the verified thread.

They could either add a tag, or have a very select few and pin them.

They shouldn't pin them.

Like RoomScape has said, having a 'Pinned' thread is something that somebody should have to pay for as it is a form of advertisement.

Yeah I never understood why they were able to have two different threads.

They can have it in one section or the other. Simply put [VERIFIED] tags of some sort if you want to announce that you're verified while being in the regular service section.

It would be a lot more appropriate if there were actual 'verified' tags that only staff could add. You never know, someone could try to sneak a verified in their title. :|

A simple report or look through by staff once a day would fix that. happy.png

But if you have a tag, you can search all other threads with that tag easily. Not as simple to do with just brackets.

Done, thanks!

No problem, I appreciate the suggestion. :)

I agree 100% sorry my mods didnt follow up on this when they apparently agreed.

I will demote them all.

As you see though it was never made a rule they just told you to report it.

Sorry for the delayed response next time it will be less than 4 years.
