MartiiinnOSRS
http://osbot.org/forum/topic/48753-banned-users/ to collaborate on her post, could there be a away for use to be able to go onto another users profile after there banned and on there profile there to be the reasoning why he/she got banned or the link of the dispute so for example @Mohammed got banned atm i cant click his name but if i was to click his name it redirect me to the dispute or to his profile that only allows us to see the reasoning why he got banned
Extreme Scripts
Actually not a bad idea but I don't think IPB will support this.

Administrator Maldesto Posted May 4, 2014 Administrator Share Posted May 4, 2014 If a user is banned, don't trade with him/her. It is almost never the case for someone to get banned other than scamming. about 10% of our bans are from things other than scamming. Always a request a pm and this won't be a problem. I agree with this suggestion. It's a bit off that just because a user is banned, you can no longer view all of the information/tools (see all threads, posts, etc.) on their profile. However there is another IPB forum which also has this "issue" when a user is banned, I'm unsure if you're able to still keep their profile active if they are banned, but I strongly agree w/ the suggestion of leaving banned users' profiles accessible after their ban. @OP, as for ban reason , you can always head to the scam/dispute section and search their useranme.

It could be set up where we could access their profile, but I don't know. I'd support that - just staff should go ahead and delete their contact info from their profile after banning - but we should be able to see. It's very helpful with searching also. It's really annoying searching for specific stuff a banned user did without access to their profile. Not only could this help others find out as to why they're actually banned, it can also help us find any potential ban evaders the person may have by cross referencing it to info the banned user made - which is a lot harder to find without profile access. OT: The idea of having a PM every time a user gets banned is kind of annoying, though. I wouldn't really be for it. It should be in your best interest to check who you're trading with before hand and not just make assumptions. That's the worst possible thing you can do when marketing - make assumptions. You can obviously see that they're banned by the cross through their name. Do you really need a reason for their ban not to trade them?I mean, I honestly trade with a lot of banned users. I don't see the problem with it. I just make them go first and they can't really argue it. Some ask me to mm because they know the other person won't go first. If you see the person is banned, just don't go first to them or do something where you can be at a loss. They're banned for a reason. Now, if they're banned for something like being stupid rather than scamming, that's a different situation, but I still wouldn't go first. Doing all of that would be too much work to do every time a mod bans. You have no idea how many bans are handed out on a daily basis. Having to do this extra work on top of it is just pointless and annoying.
