In a recent runescape stream mod mat discussed plans to remove all random events because they find them ineffective for bots and rather an annoyance for users. He mentioned if they do remove them the items random events provide would be moved elsewhere such as a shop.

If they do plan on doing so it will make our jobs much easier.

Well randoms are already moved in rs3 so i find it extremely hard to believe mod mark was talking about rs3 when this was mentioned on the stream

Well. Think about it, it's probably easier for them to figure out the pattern of the bot if the bot's pattern isn't broken up by a random event.

 

It'll make breaking more essential.

Yeah I doubt there gonna remove randoms with no repercussion to botters...

Hopefully it's soon.

They have said this alot of times in the past months, wont happen anytime soon tbh..

That would be nice. As a player, I don't like them. I do like the random items though like genie and exp book, etc.
