Question: What do you think on terms of abortion? Do you think that it is wrong, or are you ok with it and explain your reasoning.

 

My opinion:

 

I believe that it is wrong and when you have sexual intercourse and you become pregnant, you had the decision and knowledge that a baby would come from your actions, so you shouldn't just have the right to kill it, I do not believe it is just "tissue" but I think it is considered to be a human life.

 

Currently you can go and have an abortion and it is not killing a human life. But say a woman is pregnant and gets shot and both her and the baby die. The man will be charged with two accounts of murder. Which is quite contradictory.

I am going to have to disagree with abortion but also have a little bit of push towards it, if a child grows up in a lower class home with junky parents, the child will not learn wrong from right (it could be the next Einstein ofcourse) this will enable the child to make decisions and will make the child follow in its useless parents footsteps. It would not be the childs fault but the parents.

I get your point and the double murder, but you have to understand that you didn't mean to get pregnant when you decided to have sex, so basically, if we couldn't abort, you would of been forced to do something you don't want to, and for a person to have a son that they don't want, they shouldn't have it at all, he will just suffer.

 

I fully support abortion.

 

Of course he could be the next einstein but the chanes are very low, chances of the kid growing up as a criminal and making more damage than good are greater, life is a gamble, what if the kid goes and kill the next einstein?

I understand your point of vieuw, but I think in some situations it must be allowed.

For example, if you are a girl, and you were raped by a random person, got a trauma of it, and then you hear you are pregnant.

What should you do?

I support abortion.

Can't remember where but due to the law in that country a lady couldn't get an abortion which would have saved her life. Her and the baby both died in the end, even if one of them remained alive it would be better then both dying surely.

It seems the lifestyle now sees Abortion as a contraceptive you could say, of which i completely disagree with. Use a condom in the first place.

This is not about religion, this is what we can see, all we can see from people who don't get abortion is getting their life ruined and more murder, not everyone is christian, i do respect people's opinion and religion and i don't discuss it, as i do i think christians or other religious people should practice that too.

 

I don't know if you're like this but what bothers me about christians and most of the religion is that when they think something is wrong, they just try to FORCE everyone to do something to their liking, and that's just WRONG, you should practice your preaches yourself.

 

I could talk about this for hours but i'm getting out of topic so i'll leaving it here, and i'm not trying to be rude but just trying to make a point.

Thanks for responding man. And the point of sexual intercourse is to have a baby, so you have to be aware that even with safe sex you have a chance to get pregnant by accident.

People need to understand there are consequences in all their actions, whether the consequences are good or bad. And it is not guaranteed that they will suffer, but if it was me, I would want to have a chance.

 

I brought this topic up because my parents considered abortion since I was so premature, they let me live even though I was supposed to be mentally handicap. And I am glad they did, because I have no defects, even though it was a miracle, what if they carried on the abortion you know?

I Agree with abortion. For the first couple of week's it's just cells (it has no heart beat or nothing) so it cannon be considered a baby.

Also if abortion was made illegal imagine how many 13-15 year olds would have kids?

 

At the end of the day we're living in an age where kids are having sex younger and younger.

Even if the female is too young to care for the baby, the baby should be put up for adoption. The only case I find abortion to be right in is if a women has sex against her will, such as rape. Living with what happened hurts enough mentally, a baby would make it worse, especially caring for it without a father.

That is a good point. I think if it is against her will, it would be a honorable decision to keep the baby and put it up for adoption. But she could also have the option even though I don't like it at all, to have an abortion.

I understand excactly where you are coming from, I think if the girl decided to keep the baby and atleast put it up for adoption, it would be very honorable of her. But she  should have the secondary option of having in abortion since she was raped. The mental strain on her would be un-bearable I can imagine and would not wish that on anyone.

Everyone needs to think, what if you were a child of rape? How do you feel now, do you really think it is okay that you could of been murdered because a rape happened, or would you have rather been put up for adoption and lived a normal life. Most likely never finding out what happened. I just have a hard time believing murder is okay. 

I think it's up to the mother to decide, not the government or religion.

Think of it this way. Would you rather be an adopted child and not know your parents, or not get to experience life at all?

I think you should be free to do whatever you want, but I feel so bad for the baby that gets killed in the process.
