Fat

Featured Replies

I've come to notice a lot of you guys are in gym.

I am overall happy with my body, however lately I've been eating hell a lot (candy) but I am not overweighted. I weigh 50 kilo and am 1 meter 64 tall.

I am however not happy with my bottom belly, or however you want to call it.

If I touch my bottom belly you can feel the fat, apart from that I have no reasons to complain.

It's almost bikini time and I want to get rid of that specific fat.

As said in my first sentence : you guys seem to know alot about working out.

How can I reduce the fat at that specific place? I've googled some stuff but I thought : why not ask it here?

So yeah I guess that's it lol.

Help me out? You know any exercises from your own experience that works?

Thanks ^.^

crunches (reps of 15, 3 times, break inbetween the 3sets) and do some planks, thtll help tone u, im not an expert like some of these guys try to act, but tht shud work, jogging would help keep you breathing better too, and overall help your day to day activities feel better, only a 15min a day jog will do wonders

Do sit ups everyday for a few months till it's gone also I don't get how your belly is fat because 50k/164 is slightly underweight ;o

Contrary to popular belief, ab exercises will not strip down lower belly fat. You see, bodyfat cannot be lost in one specific area, there is no spot reduction when you talk about the human body. To lose that fat, you need to lower your overall bodyfat.

How can you do that? Well, you need to go on a caloric deficit, meaning you're burning more calories than you are eating. Cardio helps, or you can count your calories.

Abdominal workouts will tighten your core and give you a more aesthetic look when you strip down that bodyfat, but it will not (by itself) strip down your bellyfat.

Follow the two posts above me without going on a caloric deficit and you will not see any results.

If you need any help in getting your actual calories to lose your fat anne, feel free to pm me

The plank exercise builds core strength and doesn't do much for fat burning.

Running and crunches are the best in my opinion.

Could not move for 2 days after this. Now I can do it flawlessly, I recommend it.

Nothing wrong with a bit of meat anne :)

Ignore the above posts, those 5 minute "destroyers" won't do anything for your goals.

First off DISREGARD weight, it means nothing. The winner of the Crossfit games is considered by many to be the fittest person in the world but a scale would tell you he's obese. You also cannot lose fat from just one specific part of your body but it comes off as a whole.

The best thing for you would be a lot of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and crossfit style workouts. If you want I can post mine when I get on a computer.

Anything can burn fat. Even sleeping or thinking.

Well yeah, it's kind of obvious you need to go on a specific diet. Doing workouts while eating stupidly is simply stupid.

Sigh. There's A1 & A2 fats, no exercise targets a particular spot to burn fat. That's a myth, A1 fat is what the body targets first as a primary source of energy, once you run out of A1 fat your body is forced to burn A2 fats which is much harder, this is located in a few places but primary place is lower torso and around the waist.

The best way to consistently lose fat is Zone 1-3 jogging for 40 - 90 minutes. First 20 minutes your body burns Carbs + Sugars, after 20minutes~ goes to fat as it's source.

Losing fat is very easy, however if you don't have any muscle that will make your skin flabby so if you can do good core exercises that will give you an overall aesthetic body

I however don't like the fact that people only feel the need to train prior to summer, I'd never do something I don't like just to please others. Train cause you enjoy feeling healthy and living an overall better life, otherwise, don't bother.

And as far as diets go, eat all you want, you're young. People here think you need particular diets which is horse-shit unless your trying to accelerate performance wise which doesn't seem to be your case. You burn energy faster than a steam train, just make sure you're physically active

Running. Eat healthy. Don't eat junk food :P

no sir, sleeping or thinking burns calories, not fat :P

This is true. I suppose its a different story when loosing fat, rather then gaining muscle. I'm used to muscle talk because I was a teenage body builder, not really one anymore.

Listen to these people's advice.

And almost every single post here explains what happens when this happens.
