Teamspeak voice chat service.

Featured Replies

Hi,

I think it would be a rather good idea to have the ability to voice chat over Teamspeak rather than type in the chat, this is quite usefull since you dont want to have the chat in your screen at all times or incase you just dont feel like typing.

happycamel5 is kind enough to offer a teamspeak server hosted on his behalf for this community.

Cheers.

I like the idea but you do need to make sure to give certain people rights and have rooms for different toppics.

I dont think this is a really a good idea. The chat usually only has 15-20 people in it and alot of them are AFK. Also alot of people wouldn't join a teamspeak server because they have to download the program and get a mic but with the chat all you have to do is click the chat button at the top and you are in.

You don't have to actually delete the chat as it is now, it could be a second feature. You also do not need a mic to use teamspeak, you can type there if you prefer

yes krulvis, i can make different rooms for different things and also give all admins on osbot server admins on the ts, and @dic you can buy larger servers

I wouldn't join unless I am on a vpn tbh, I'd only trust the administrators on this forum to have administrator powers on the teamspeak.

@enzyme its all about trust really, i use a vpn for everything really

what services do you offer? if its scripting help im all about it bro

Teamspeak would get annoying, I wouldn't mind admins and/or mods giving trusted members the help rank so if there's a user who needs help and there's at least 1 help rank online, just join the teamspeak server and ask your question and leave. Nothing more than that really, sorta like live support...with a mic.

I'd join only if the OSBot staff purchased the server. But I probably wouldn't join for too long considering most of the people in the chat are fairly annoying already.

I think that it wouldn't be that good suggestion, because as someone said above there would only be like 15 to 20 people who just afk in the chat, or there would be over 10 speaking and trolling at the same time... but for some people this could be a positive update.

It's mostly about fun, Teamspeak servers are fairly cheap and some people like to have a talk. So what people are afk? Nothing wrong with that. Want to get rid of annoying people? Ohey private rooms!

I would really like to see a TS server :p!
