Heya!

 

My name's Thijs. I'm a 20 year old Dutch guy who studies Artificial Intelligence.

 

A while ago I had a Rune Essence Mining script over at RSBot that was quite popular, but as school required more attention I had to put that on hold for a while. Since nothing is left of the community it once was I decided to move on and landed here!

I'll probably sniff around a little and see if I've got the time and motivation to start toying around with scripting again, since I really used to like it. I might try to incorporate some of the AI stuff I'm being taught at the moment if it's applicable and I'll see where it gets me!

I figured out that it requires a member account to get into the old Runescape servers, and I'm not motivated enough to pay just to play around with the bot :P

 

To help you guys out, I've made 2 scripts in the past that perhaps some developer here might want to use snippets of. I must warn you that these scripts are old and made for another bot client, but with some modifications parts of the script could be very useful for this community!

 

http://pastebin.com/wZN7HDwp - An essence miner that got into the SVN a while ago on RSBot (or p****bot these days).

http://pastebin.com/tJesdSw3 - A 'kamikaze' combat trainer that works as follows: It runs from Lumbridge (the starting point/point where you go if you die) to the other side of the river and starts attacking all the beasts there until it dies. This turned out to be a very efficient combat trainer for the early levels!

 

You are free to use parts (or all) of the code, but I'd like it if you gave me credit for it ;)
