I got a great idea! "ip bann scammers"

Featured Replies

Hi!

I got scammed 10M (os gp) like 2 weeks ago.. would be cool if osbot would do something for scammers.. ip bann them or something, don´t let em just make new accounts and "come back to business"... I know this is quite impossible to make it work 100%.. or is it? I don´t have a idea how it should be done... I just got 1 great idea.. :p is there chance to ban their rs accounts?(..like...) if they scamm you bann/block them to not make them able to use bot anymore? because we see their RS in game names..  that would be just soo awesome.. my english is very bad, but if you didn´t get my point I´ll try to explain it more clearly.

exsample, I got scammed by (forum name:) 4x400, rs name (oldschool) "XUG". so can you Block... make blacklist of scammers to not let their accounts to log in on osbot client & scripts? is this possible???

Osbot loads rs client. I don't think it's easy to block players from logging in with their rs account in the client of runescape, would be easier to block users but that's already done.

I believe scammers do get IP banned, but it isn't hard to change your IP.

& I'm sure that'd be easy to do, but it wouldn't be worth the devs time to add that, since you get a free RS name change, etc.

If you got scammed then make a dispute, however they do already IP ban certain people. Problem is its incredibly easy to change your IP.
