Allow keyboard input without allowing mouse input

Featured Replies

Title pretty much says it and realistically it's a very minor thing. This may even have been suggested in another thread in this forum, but I felt I may as well post about it as a simple reminder.

Seeing as many of us actually babysit our bots, to the extent of even perhaps talking to our fellow players while running them, it would be nice if there were an option to allow the user (us) to input keyboard data, or in other words talk in runescape, WITHOUT enabling the mouse input, as this messes with the bots trying to click certain places and whatnot. It is possible to hit the "allow input" button and simply keep the mouse off of the client while typing, but I'd like to simply be able to switch between talking to someone and clicking on another screen without the worry of dragging my cursor over the client screen and potentially getting my account killed.

Again this is a tiny tiny suggestion, but one I feel would improve the general quality of osbot.

Support, I hate accidentally messing up my bot when I run the mouse over the screen because I have to type messages in.

Why though.. You never have to move the mouse on the clients screen at all... just simply click the input and you can automatically type.. you don't need to click the chat box. They have other things to worry about then this shit lol. I'm sorry but i just don't find this necessary. Point blank.

You've done nothing but reitterate the usefulness and miss the point. It's not that you have to click the chat box, it's that if you want to type, you have to turn the input on/off while making sure not to put the cursor over the client screen. I constantly am switching between osbot and a webpage like zybez while talking to people, and mess up my bot all the time in doing so. Also, frankly I am seeing absolutely no updates to osbot in the last several weeks, so clearly they are not worrying about "things other than this." I figured I'd suggest something that I know people would find useful, that would also only take so much as adding one button with a few lines of code. Low amount of effort by osbot but large amount of benefits for the community, that's how you run a company.

would be one of the easiest yet best upgrades u could do to osbot....real talk would love for this to happen

Support, but I really don't need this since I've never messed up my client. But if other people would like to have this option then, go ahead :)
