Is sad (and annoying) to remember  when we used to be 100.000 players online, 10 worlds full and the rest with 1k players in, to only 1 world full, 2 or 3 with 900 players and the rest with 100 players... wow.. rs07 is dead, what do you think? i dont know if we will get the player base again, looks very hard.

we never had that in rs07 remake.. ever..

Makes me sad , because Im from runescape classic. I dont want to see it all happen all over agian...

It was popular years ago because browser games were new. Now there's tons so 07 is nothing special.

Well yeah, but for me , rs07 is the best, theres something that makes me play it, i have fun, i dont like Eoc graphics or features, etc...

and wouldnt like to play other game like WoW or LOL, i just dont like, im sticked to rs07, maybe cause its the only game i know properly or reminds me of my childhood, who knows, i thought more people with that feeling would be arround.

maybe they should open the rs07 version to the public, (for free) since they only have 7000 players online in average... idk honestly

My opinion is that the people that remember rs07 and used to play are the ones that are going to play it because of the memories they have of it.  It probably isn't attracting new players like it would have in the old days while browser games were few; due to it being a bit more dated than other online browser games most people play something else. Most of the people online are RS veterans who played it back in the day and many of these veterans have moved on from playing games.

Runescape was amazing until the amour graphics were changed. The addition of eoc only added whipped cream to the burnt pumpkin. Rs is at it's lowest, if they don't do something soon they will be losing more money than they are making.

Nope, they will continue making money until the end, one of the big reasons that the game is dieing is because they're squeezing out every penny they can get from us. Squeal of fortune, Soloman's general store, bonds...

It is sad to see not as many people on the game anymore but they are going to keep making money for sure. Just think about how many people play the game all together and then think of the membership price of like 9 dollars a month. They are making pretty good money. It would be nice to see more players online though...

The rares are what killed the game. They gave us 07, but in reality they gave us NOTHING. A rare is basically the center piece around RS in my opinion, some people want to own a phat some day. Now people pk in them. It just isn't fun it is like a private server.

Back when I played, peak times would average near 270, fighting over places to train, and it had a real community, now it is just something to pass time, and to exploit, isn't really anything more than that/
