The current administrators together with the other members of the staff team have the most experience, hence they are the ones that pick new staff members as they know what kind of skills you need to qualify as a good staff member. I didnt even know about cb assistant voting utill it closed. People would just vote for their friends, and most people don't talk to anyone on the forums besides their friends - so they can't see how well someone else would do with the forums / how good they would be at being staff Many votes may be rigged by people coming together and planning on "trolling" to make someone staff who shouldn't be, or people would start paying others to elect + vote for them there also needs to be a voter eligibility too!
