How come Jagex threatened to sue wBot but not OSBot and *?

.org and .com address's

also wbot had bad terms&agreement

basically didnt protect their own site

No. There's more than 1 botting client in the world. Also if they were the developers of wBot and made OSBot within weeks after wBot getting shut down they would be in more serious trouble. That's basically like getting free from prison for murder then going to kill more people.

Yeah its not. Also, wBot was out before OSBot had even launched, and when OSBot launched they barely had any progress, let alone working scripts.

How come Jagex threatened to sue wBot but not OSBot and *?

If I had to take a wild guess, wBot was made in European country making paper work for sueing someone a much easier target. As for OSBot i believe it is created in America which would make it not even worth Jagex's time and money to shut down or sue as for they would have to meet up in court (If OsBot held up and defended), buy a lawyer, then fly to America just to sue them.

Just a wild guess.

because of the tos.

4th time on this thread,

Wbot was owned and developed by Webjoch and Bool. So no, it's definitely not owned by the same people.

Yes, wBot was registered in Europe. But that doesn't matter, their legal protection was just very bad. They were a starting company with a small amount of funds and couldn't win against Jagex' lawyers at that given point in time. Do you remember Jagex' case against Nexus, owned by the Snellman brother? They were registered as Impulse software in the United States. Jagex sued them as well and won against them in court. My conclusion is that it will probably make a difference to be registered in the US but it won't stop Jagex. I don't know if Jagex already threatened either OSBot or Advertising other bots isn't allowed., but I see OSBot simply copied a part of p****bot's terms and conditions so I'm not sure as to how big their understanding of legal issues is.

To clear things up : OSBot was made in Europe too same as Wbot.
However it's not from the same owner and it got taken down for the bad T.O.S.
