My friend who hasn't botted before or RWT'd was perm banned 2 weeks ago for RWT. Has anyone heard anything like this recently? or been able to contact jagex about a ban like this?

 

His account had three more stats needed 99 and it was finished, it was his first ever runescape account from pre eoc also!

I think your friend might not be telling the truth.

If you hope that a jmod sees you commenting about a falseban and unbans the account you should probably try posting on twitter or reddit and not a botting forum

Yeaa it is my friend, obviously I have botted before and see some unjustified bans have been happening lately from posts on here and online elsewhere. So I posted on here to see if anyone has heard or seen anything similar lately!

my brother got banned for rwt. He transferred 10m from another account.

I second this ^^. Jagex rarely throws RWT bans, and when they do, they usually have substantial evidence to back it up because it's unappealable. 

I know of rwt bans where the guy has done no rwt, but has botted. So who knows 

RWT bans can also be issued for Power levelling services
