LiamBaby Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Instead of an IRC, how about a shoutbox on the forum home for members to communicate with each other easier. Such as this one: http://community.invisionpower.com/files/file/5955-shoutbox/
Wizard Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 We have an IRC, there no need for shoutbox. IRC information : http://osbot.org/forum/topic/156-irc-channel/
Scu11 Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 We have an IRC The first sentence in this thread was "instead of an IRC".. what was the point of then replying "but we have an IRC"? 3
Peter Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 We actually do need a shoutbox instead off a IRC, I will show Kati this suggestion and see what she has to say.
Legendary Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Support as well, but rules will have to be strictly enforced.
Koy Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 She already installed one once and she ran into some issues and removed it. I doubt we will have one, but I do support this.
GoldenGates Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Support, the irc should be for mature conversation(you know what i mean.....) and for dev purposes as well, the shoutbox is usually for hellos and help for setting up and whatnot.
Developer Maxi Posted May 9, 2013 Developer Posted May 9, 2013 IP.Chat will most likely be deployed this week or next week.
